You are made of the sea and the stars and one day You are made of the sea and the stars and one day you will find yourself again.
For anyone feeling lost at the moment ✨💜 NOTHING IS INFINITE ✨
I’ve been hiding from the world, from life. Sitt I’ve been hiding from the world, from life. Sitting in confusion, overwhelm, wanting to help people in my life, but unable to. Wrestling with grief, guilt, shame, anxiety and chronic pain. I’m learning to prioritise my needs over the needs of others. Stop taking responsibility for others. A lifetime’s conditioning beginning to unravel. Sitting with the dark emotions this brings up. Sitting with a compassionate heart wondering how to honour myself fully when the outcome isn’t what others want. Feeling it all so deeply. I’m left with little to give. It’s a time for self healing. But it’s also time to pick up the reigns and step back into life & give what I have to give. Unclear of what that is. Trusting there will be clarity in action. My last post was in this vein too so let’s see! To all the empath’s out there, I’d love to hear your thoughts. ✨✨ Oh and I’m writing this here to hold myself accountable, I will be reaching out to my subscribers to reconnect, share my experiences on this road to wellness. I relate so much to this. I feel reading has saved my life over and over again. It’s given the feeling of connection, meaning, wonder, inspiration, the sense that everything is going to be ok. .
I’ve missed books, I turned to audio books when my son was born, not a great sleeper I’d walk him to get him to nap. I loved those walks. I love that locations are now filled with snippets of a story like poetry carved into a tree.

I’ve missed actual books and started to wonder if I’d ever be able to read again. Books were left abandoned scattered round my home, a few pages read. So much to read, so little time. A constant reminder, a constant longing. .
I sit here on a cold, wet, blustery Saturday morning book in hand, cup of tea by my side, happy heart, we made it. 💗

Is there something you love that has been squeezed out of your life? .
Reflect, acknowledge it, create space for it to return, in its own time. Trust. .
It’s a delicate dance between doing and not doing.

This has been floating around in my mind for sever This has been floating around in my mind for several months now as I have found myself in so much pain my regular yoga practice no longer appeared to serve me.
.
With every breath the pain seemed to worsen, heat built in an isolated spot as if to say ‘notice me’. .
I’d reply ‘I hear you, what do you need?’ .
The response, ‘notice me’.
.
It’s sent me on a journey of reflection. 
How can I support myself better? How can I manage this pain that on its worst days consumes me, tears through my sleep, rips up my yoga practice, burns through my spine, seizes up my muscles and locks me into a wave of nausea.
.
I’m learning to navigate this new terrain that’s tearing through my life. Isolating me further. .
I’ve questioned the role of Yoga in my life and after all the torment, letting go of the poses, what I could do versus what my body is capable of now, I’m learning to listen, really listen and receive the lessons. Yoga has facilitated the listening, and all the emotions I’ve had to move through to be able to hear. To really hear my body.
